I need your advice

On the second day of orientation, the girl I had planned on rooming with left school because she "hates the hippies." So I was then left with a double-single room. Its really big and I looove it.
I got an e-mail the other day informing me that I would have to find a room mate or I would be charged for the single room. (First time they have done this, EVER)

So I found a girl who wants to room with me, but the thing is...
she wants me to move into her room, which is SO SO SO small.

I went in to see it, and alll of the girls on her floor were begging me not to take her from the floor and to move in with her.
Her floor=fun, my floor=boring
her room=small, my room=big


WHAT SHOULD I DO???
What would you do in this situation?



For those who donapos;t care, what have your experiences been like with room mates?
